CelestialVoice ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the CelestialVoice mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
CelestialVoice is designed with a "Privacy-First" approach:
- Conversational Data: On mobile devices, all chat history and interactions with the AI are stored locally on your device using an encrypted database (ObjectBox). We do not have access to your personal conversations.
- Voice Data: If you use the speech-to-text feature, your voice is processed to convert it into text. This processing happens using your device's native speech recognition services. We do not record, store, or transmit your raw audio files to our servers.
2. Device Permissions
To provide a full experience, the app may request the following permissions:
- Microphone/Audio Recording: Required only for the voice-to-chat feature. Audio is used solely for real-time transcription.
- Internet Access: Used in "Web Mode" to connect to our backend service. In "Offline Mode," internet is not required for chat interactions.
- Storage: Used to save the application's local database and the local Large Language Model (LLM) files.
3. Data Processing & Storage
- Offline RAG (Mobile): Our Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system runs entirely on your device. The knowledge base and AI model are stored and executed locally.
- Backend Interactions: If you use the application in a mode that connects to our Python backend, data is processed in real-time to generate responses. We do not store these logs permanently or associate them with your identity.
4. Third-Party Services
CelestialVoice does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data brokers. We do not sell or share your data with any third parties.
5. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
